Who Are We?

The Oxford Fashion Society is a dynamic student collective dedicated to enriching Oxford’s creative scene and providing a platform for self-expression through fashion. With a team operating across roles such as sustainability and sponsorships, we curate a diverse range of events—from exclusive guest speaker talks to high-energy DJ nights. We strive to bridge the gap between Oxford’s academic environment and the fashion industry, increasing engagement with students from the Ruskin School of Art while offering unique opportunities that go beyond the classroom. Whether it’s gaining insider tips on launching a Depop shop, mastering second-hand shopping on Vinted, or joining us on trips to London for a holistic view of style, we provide a space where students can explore, learn, and celebrate fashion in all its forms.

Our society brings style to the city’s nightlife with exclusive DJ events, giving members the chance to boogie in style. Collaborating with other collectives like Industry Magazine, we curate unforgettable nights that blend fashion, music, and creativity. These events offer the perfect opportunity to socialize, express your personal style, and immerse yourself in Oxford’s vibrant fashion scene—all while dancing the night away.

Craft

We host hands-on crafting events that bring creativity and sustainability to the forefront. From Sip 'n Sketch, where we partnered with the Oxford University Art Society to design innovative outfit concepts, to our Wear and Tear upcycling social, which encourages giving new life to old garments, these events provide a space for members to experiment, create, and engage with fashion in an interactive way.
